About the Host and Why Launch This Podcast

Just an above-average guy fed up with bad governance and political BS. I have no training whatsoever in broadcasting, have never run for office, have never worked for a campaign, and have never had anything remotely close to 15 minutes of fame. What I have done is kept myself informed, watched closely, and voted in every election throughout my adult life. 

 

For years I have observed how "public service" transformed into "enrichment through public service." I have become frustrated at how nearly all those elected into office abandoned any semblance of public "service." Having seen this rise to new levels of absurdity over the last several years, this became a motivating factor to launch this podcast. What alarms me though is that I must point out what would be patently obvious to anyone who would just stop and think.  

 

I will call-out all politicians, you can count on that, but my primary targets are the people who elect them over and over again no matter how appalling of a job they do. In other words YOU, and this is regardless of your political affiliation. It's time YOU took responsibility for allowing things to reach the dreadful state that America is in. 

 

• Tens of trillions of dollars in debt

• Divided across every possible social and political line

• Homelessness at record levels

• Crime skyrocketing 

• Energy costs needlessly high

• Inflation and taxation crushing the middle class

• Millions of people coming to America having no allegiance to America and straining our already strained social nets

 

You vote people into office, which makes you their boss, yet there seems no level of bad governance or outright incompetence that will lead you to fire these people.

 

Each election, you listen to them belch out the same platitudes they fail to meet and then you vote for them over and over again as they laugh at how gullible the electorate is. You would not tolerate a gardener doing a substandard job mowing your lawn, yet many of you shrug your shoulders at the pathetic job our so-called "public servants" collectively do. But unlike a gardener, these people are in a position to significantly and adversely impact our lives. 

 

It is time for that to change, and hopefully you visiting this podcast represents a start.
